Ford City of Tomorrow In collaboration with Experimental Design, RotoLab contributed to the conceptual design for this groundbreaking event hosted by Ford Motor Co. located at Fort Mason in San Francisco. The event brought all sectors of mobility together from municipal transport to car and ride share, food delivery, and bicycles.
Ford City CES 2018 In collaboration with Experimental Design, RotoLab contributed to the conceptual design for Ford's booth at CES. Specifically RotoLab designed the "Cafe of the Future" a physical pavilion located on a virtual street which played host to the wide array of mobility products Ford showcased at the event. The pavilion also hosted the event's keynote address by Ford CEO Jim Hackett.
PD(x): Portland Experimental District PD(x) began as a competition entry for the renovation of the Keller Music Center in Downtown Portland but grew into a comprehensive urban revitalization scheme focused on bringing in and supporting entrepreneurs in the creative fields. PD(x) makes use of the lowest rent areas, the rooftops and parking garages to host inflatable centers for performance, development and research.
I8: Product Installation The i8 network provides real time IoT data at an urban scale focusing primarily on transportation, and retail. RotoLab works with i8 to design placement strategies to better support their data collection needs.
